FAS Introduces Online Startup Demo Day with Pitching Competition Brought by STO Managers

Last month 11 startups, 12 VC partners, and 40+ VC funds took part in the Demo Day that was co-organised by our team. Every session was 30 minutes long where 10 minutes were dedicated to startups pitching, 10-15 minutes for Q&A with investors, and 5 minutes for feedback from our guest mentor Vince Kohli, Silicon Valley venture capital Investor, 6X tech entrepreneur, global venture mentor maker, and enterprise blockchain product design development expert.

In addition to the BlockConf Digital Demo Day, our partner STO Managers organized a pitching competition for 11 startups that joined the Demo Day. We’re proud to announce that Elena Obukhova, our founder & CEO, was invited to join as a judge along with industry renowned experts. Elena has been involved in the crypto scene since 2014. Previously, she had been working as a blockchain and crypto consultant with the VC fund ABRT, establishing a scoring algorithm and financial model for Limpid, a widely used scoring platform in the US, and with United Nations Capital Development Fund on Financial Inclusion advising on the emerging technologies.

Our team is excited to announce a winner of the startup competition: Fuse.io. Fuse.io is an innovative platform that allows launching community-centric payment systems and token economies on an Ethereum-compatible blockchain.

All participating startups had a chance to connect with a great number of investors during the Demo Day and the conference and continued with followups afterwards. FAS team feels grateful to all people who joined us during the event and will be happy to welcome everyone for our next events!
