STO was the main topic at Hong Kong Blockchain Week 2019 and everyone was interested in its legal framework. We can definitely call STO one of the hottest topics in blockchain community these days. STOs are relatively new concept, which just started in September 2018. Security token is a digital security and is regulated by SEC, thus the market still has many uncertainties and STO enthusiasts keep monitoring legal updates. Generally, everyone agrees that STO is the future of Blockchain application. Since there is a regulatory body in place, many governments are more accepting, but regulations are still main obstacles for investors and entrepreneurs. For now we can say that Luxembourg is one of the best places to register your STO platform, as it is more STO-friendly.

We believe that governments should test different regulations now and then finally come up with the common law that will regulate STO in the same way worldwide. That will definitely speed up the development of this market.
